Broadway on the Bay is a Florida-based theatrical production company founded by Broadway performers Heather Tepe and Scott Difford. Drawing from their years of experience on Broadway and national tours, the company brings high-caliber theatrical entertainment to audiences throughout the Tampa Bay region and beyond. Both Heather and Scott made their Broadway debuts as children, giving them a deep personal connection to the power of theater at a young age and a shared commitment to inspiring the next generation of performers and theatergoers. Broadway on the Bay produces concert-style theatrical events that combine Broadway talent, live music, dynamic choreography, and community collaboration. Their signature holiday production, A Very Broadway Christmas, features Broadway vocalists, dancers, musicians, local choirs, and festive family experiences. Through Broadway on the Bay, Heather and Scott aim to bring the magic of New York City theater to Florida audiences in a fresh, joyful, accessible, and community-centered way.

Heather Tepe and Scott Difford first met 10 years ago while performing together on Broadway in Matilda the Musical. After four years in the show, their shared love of theater, travel, and adventure took them around the world and eventually to Costa Rica, where they were married in 2020.

Not long after, Heather and Scott made their way to St. Petersburg and quickly fell in love with the Sunshine City’s warmth, creativity, and vibrant arts community. Now proud to call St. Pete home with their 2-year-old son, they are thrilled to bring their Broadway experience, passion for live performance, and love for their local community together through Broadway on the Bay.
